Gorbel announced the launch of a hybrid workstation crane, expanding its closed-track workstation crane.

Hybrid cranes combine the strength and durability of the patented track with the lightweight advantages of Gorbel's aluminum enclosed track bridge. Combining these two functions can achieve greater installation flexibility to meet longer support centers. It also allows multiple higher capacity bridges to be used on a single crane without buffering.

Scott Goforth, Gorbel Product Marketing Manager, said: “Gorbel has been customizing hybrid cranes for many years, and now we use this experience to optimize and standardize solutions for our customers.

"This solution fits the unique but growing niche market that we see in the industry. We are very happy to bring another innovative product to the market, which will expand our ability to meet customers’ high standards of Gorbel. expect."

Highlights of the hybrid workstation crane include: Support centers up to 50 feet tall-Extended support centers reduce obstacles on the ground. This means easier installation and more flexible installation location.

Multi-bridge without buffers——Using Gorbel's Tarca brackets and runways, multiple 1000# to 4000# workstation crane bridges can be supported on a single independent or ceiling-mounted crane system without buffers. A hybrid crane can support multiple workstations or the entire process without losing the available crane coverage area to the buffer zone.

Manual push/pull can be easily moved manually using customized electric solutions. Or it can be combined with a higher capacity electric Tarca patented track bridge and a complete lifting solution that combines GS cranes, G-Force lifting equipment, or both to form a complete integrated system. GS crane is ready to use out of the box, plug and play.
