Verlinde has expanded its Eurochain VX series with Eurochain VX-SM, a new single-speed variant that provides essential lifting equipment for electric chain hoists with loads ranging from 125 to 2000 kg

The VX-S hoist provides functions similar to the Eurochain VX series, but with new speed advantages: improved design, robustness and safety.

Verlinde’s Eurochain VX electric hoist comes standard with a variety of equipment, including UP/DOWN electrical safety limit switches, IP55 single-speed hoisting and travel motor protection, two button pendants on hook suspension hoists or manual trolleys, or electric hoist Four button pendant trolley.

A new type of boom compatible with existing trolleys is also provided as standard, which is designed to facilitate the installation of the hoist. The reduction of the "C" size optimizes the lifting height, and it is recommended to start from 3m as the standard. In order to be more precise, electric trucks are standard equipment with a speed range of 5 to 20 m/min.

Various options complete this standard equipment, especially including 90° rotating suspension and folding, fixed or automatic top hooks.

For driving, two speeds of 20 and 5m/min and a slow speed change of 3 to 10m/min are recommended.

The size of the lifting device has been reduced to improve the approach data of the hook. The new chain bucket design has led to an innovative assembly of two parts, increasing the toughness and safety of the hoist.

The travel limit switch is now more suitable for operation in harsh environments. The lifting brake has also been optimized. In addition to increasing safety for users, these components do not require any adjustments and are low maintenance costs.

Many internal developments for lifting motors have been realized. Its operational characteristics are now further than those required by market standards. It is more reliable and its service life has been extended. The flow of motor cooling air has been improved, and an overheat sensor is standard.

The gearbox is now more powerful: its operability has been optimized through a wider range of transmission ratios to accommodate a wider range of customer applications and increase productivity. The torque limiter settings are now more precise to provide greater safety to the building structure in the event of overweight.
